Diaspora961 :: Dedicated To All The Lebanese Around The World !

By definition diaspora is a dispersion of people from their original homeland, likewise expatriation , extradition, migration , separation or displacement . We in Lebanon added a new word to the above mentioned synonyms which is (extraction) sooner you will see how we were rightful in using such a meaningfull word.

For 4 hundred years Lebanon were ruled by the dreadfull Ottoman empire, since that time and untill nowadays Lebanese still subjected to all kind of sufferings,to make this story short i shall give an example out of hundreds that these rulers setting- up a horrible example of killing, imprisoning, and terrorizing certain groups of people and to put the rest of the people under the pressure of two options of either(Humilation or Immegration) and since all Lebanese love freedom so they prefere immegration, and that is why we call the Lebanese case Extraction.

To prove it you will notice about four to five millions inhabitants live in Lebanon(about two millions non Lebanese) and more than 12 millions live abroad, this situation is unlike any other country in the world.
Do you think we were rightful when we say: Lebanese Diaspora ?
